You can dream, create, design and build the most wonderful place in the world,
but it requires people to make the dream a reality.
-- Walt Disney
In 1955, Walt Disney created a magical world hidden away in California -- not to make money or a name for himself -- but to give children and adults alike a place to let their imaginations soar; where the impossible could occur. A sort of getaway that those who truly believe in magic could escape to.
51 years later, a messageboard was created with the exact same purpose. The Mouse's Kingdom began construction in December of 2006, and officially opened in March of 2007, created for the purpose of giving fans: the children at heart, a place to discuss their love of all things Disney without the fear of judgement from those who have 'grown up' and no longer believe. To those who believe and come to this happy place...welcome!
Our Messageboard:
- has five categories or 'themed-lands', just like that you would find at a Disney theme park! "TMK Guest Relations" takes care of the forum's details, such as the rules and latest updates on the board. "Main Street TMK" covers your basic Disney discussion, including sections for the movies (both released and upcoming), the broadway shows, the music, and the games and merchandise. "World Park Showcase" is where you can discuss anything having to do with the global theme parks, the cruise line, or the wonderful cast members who make them operational each day. "Toontown Playground" is just that, covering your basic interactive forum needs, including sections for roleplay, contests and fan art/fiction. And last but not least, "Off-Topic Town" covers any and all discussion that does not concern Disney. All in all, there are over 44 different sections to post in -- what a variety!
- has a full cast of staff, some of which are available on different timezone hours. They are known for being speedy with their replies to your questions for this very reason. Never hesitate to call upon them when they are needed -- they are here to help you!
- has numbrous contests for those itching to try their graphic-making skills. Icon contests are held weekly in the "Toontown Playground", while icon challenges are held continuously. Like to test your skills? Join in on the fun!
- are blessed with AMAZING members whom we are happy to consider part of our great big mouseketeer family. Now, why WOULDN'T you want to be a part of that?
"To all who come to this happy place - welcome. Here age relives fond memories of the past and here youth may savor the challenge and promise of the future." -- Walt Disney
